It's Time for Summer Wine!

Our 2015 Rosé of Pinot Noir and 2013 Grenache, both were recently awarded a score of 91 points by Wine Enthusiast Magazine!!
----
We made 119 cases of our Rosé, and we are down to 37 cases!
Get your hands on these fantastic wines (before they're gone and it gets too hot to ship) to sip and savor all summer long!

Our Rosé; the hue of the palest pink garden rose. Imagine a cool evening at the county fair, the aroma of cotton candy, and your Grandmother's cherry pies. The wine is bone dry and the aromas are inviting and pure in their expression - strawberry, cherry and floral.

The Grenache, a beautiful, dense ruby in color, and crystal clear. The wine presents abundant dark berry aromas, black tea, subtle cedar and bay, with just enough oak to hint at its French barrel aging. On the mouth, the integrated acid and tannin structure let you know this is cool climate Grenache.

World of Pinot Noir 2016

We had a great time at World of Pinot Noir this past weekend. It is, as always, incredible to see Pinot Noir from all over the world under one roof.

Randy Carparoso had a few things to say. Check out his blog posting here

2013 Stephen Ross, Stone Corral Vineyard (Edna Valley) – Intoxicating, sensuous strawberry/black cherry perfumes with an allspice "complexity" (I hate that word in wine lingo, but there you go). Pinot purity in the mouth; soft, velvety entry, becoming broad, round, downright voluptuous in the middle, and dense and layered towards the finish.

World of Pinot Noir - Burgundy Seminar

This was a lucky year! Sarah had the privilege of attending the Burgundy Seminar on Friday.
Focusing on Burgundy producer, Maison Drouhin.

Frédéric Drouhin, showed us through his wines why the Climats of Burgundy were recently chosen as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The climats are precisely delimited vineyard parcels on the slopes of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, differing from one another due to specific natural conditions. There is no better way to understand this than to taste each site, as Frédéric presents the following wines: Chassagne Premier Cru Morgeot Laguiche 2013, Mersault Premier Cru Perrières 2013, Volnay Premier Cru Clos des Chênes 2011, Pommard Rugiens 2011, Beaune Grèves 2011, Nuits St Georges Procès 2011, Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru Baudes 2011 and Clos de Vougeot 2011.
