A dark shade in the glass, this intense bottling shows black plum, dark hibiscus, turned earth and vanilla-laced oak spice on the nose. Soft, elegant tannins are suave and silky on the sip. Boysenberry, cocoa and pepper spice flavors lead into an oak-kissed finish. —M.K.

Fresh cranberry, rose petal, lavender, brioche and French toast spices make for a rich nose on this wine. The palate lands with ample spice and sage seasonings, as rounded and ripe black-plum flavors dominate. —M.K.

Clearly the best Pinot Noir in the lineup, the 2020 Pinot Noir Stone Corral Vineyard has terrific purity and complexity in its assorted darker red fruits, forest floor, bouquet garni, leather, and spicy nuances. It's textured, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, and has fine tannins.

The 2021 Chardonnay Bee Sweet Vineyard is also terrific, with a slightly more focused, mineral-laced style. Pear, honeyed tangerines, spice, and subtle brioche all define the aromatics, and it's medium- bodied, beautifully balanced, and elegant on the palate.
